6.00 (average) Not too impressed by the fanservice & it adds nothing to the series for me, but the darker route on justice is interesting. The anime series was way too short though and didn't get a chance to really go anywhere plot-wise.

7.25 (above average) Manga's not too bad. A little too much seemingly forced ecchi at times but that aside it's alright. ^^

The anime's character design is nice, I also like the OP.

7.50 (good) Not bad, kinda cliche in some areas though. Don't like Chisato, she's annoying. The animation is really good, especially the final battle. Hoping this gets a season 2. ^^

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru

3.00 (poor) I started watching this anime because I read about it in a blog that I use, and what I read about it, as well as the images for the anime peaked my interest. My favorite character is Zess. I think the purple lightning he can use is very cool looking. I also like Zess' brother Luze. Sadly all bishies were the only good thing within this entire show. Their one main enemy, Reiga, is still alive so the ONE threat that they were supposed to deal with was still left to wander about. Takashiro himself said that Reiga would be back to continue with the fight. Here's an idea if you kill the enemy, you don't have to worry about when he's going to come back to start this fight up all over again. So many things were brought up this anime, but almost all of them weren't touched upon beyond just mentioning them. I was completely confused with the appearance of Luze and that they introduced him in the next to last episode of the series. I find myself once again asking why? What's the point of it, if the series is at it's end? It just seems like there are too many questions left unanswered because I found myself asking why to A LOT of things in this anime and having NOTHING there in the series to answer those numerous questions. At first I hoped that once more manga volumes are released that they give this anime a second season, too bad that the current series was handled and most likely anything else will be handled by J.C. Staff so therefore it completely kills my desire for a sequel. The ending of the anime was extremely disappointing. J.C. Staff has really been on a decline with certain anime and sadly Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru is nothing but another casualty.

3.00 (poor) Kinda funny, but just a harem. At least some of the girls are cute and I like the contrast in their personalities, though their characters will need fleshing out, but they do have the potential to be interesting at least. The jousting concept I'm not too sure about that being the sport they chose, because it doesn't strike me as too interesting. The male lead on the other hand is bland and also unimpressive to look at. Overall not that great, their are definitely much better harems out there, ones whose plots are more approachable.

5.00 (moderate) I've heard the dub, it would've sounded better if Funimation got it instead of Viz in my opinion. I have seen both seasons. Though Zero has his moments when he makes things really complicated for himself. I thought Yuuki was cute. I just wish Yuuki would really make up her mind about who she really wants to be with. The manga ended somewhat the way I expected; though in the end she technically picked no one. Though Kaname was super manipulative & Zero could never just figure out what he wanted & just stick with it.

9.00 (very good) Checking out. I was really surprised by the show's OP, it was unexpected but sounds awesome^^ Kuroki's thoughts are funny and some of the crap she does is ridiculous. It's funny how she acts when she tries to talk with other people outside of her family xD Overall though the show is very hilarious ^^ Imae is genuinely another possible friend for her because she's very nice.

Working!!

Last Updated: Sep 27, 2015

8.50 (very good) A comedy anime I just decided to pick up. After getting through the first season in one day, I quite enjoyed it. Working!! is extremely funny, which lies in the interactions between the many different characters and their even more different personalities. Souta is a nice guy with an obsession for cute/small things, which some of his co-workers use against him at times, but he's a nice guy. Though it's due to how his father raised him, and the fact that he has 4 sisters; only one being younger than him. Aoi is alright, even though she's a compulsive liar. Popura is a cute character, though she gets picked on a lot because she's 17 years old but because of her size looks like a child and has a complex about her height. I like Jun, it's funny when he messes with Popura's hair. Souma can be funny but working around him or doing too much of anything invoving him could make you very on edge since he's very good at finding out secrets and doesn't hesitate to use them against you. Kyouko is a woman who enjoys eating, is lazy and very violent. Though she does care about her staff; some more than others. Yachiyo is kind and gentle willing to help anyone, though she will drop everything to attend to Kyouko and is very protective with the female staff. Though she scares quite a few customers because of the fact that she carries a katana around with her. And then there's Inami, while I thought eventually I might be able to sympathize with her I found it really hard to do so. While I get that she's this way because of her father, sometimes it feels like she's not really trying to get over her fear; don't get me wrong Inami does put forth good effort at times, but the rest of the time it seems like she's not really trying at all. And while I also understand she has a crush on Souta; because he's allowing himself to be her punching bag all the while using that and daily interaction as a way to help her get over her fear and be able to live a normal life, it just seems unbelievable to me because she never seems to improve. And I definitely wasn’t too enthralled about all the attention that Mahiru got back in season one, mainly because again her androphobia never seems to improve. It was funny seeing Aoi and Popura try and dig up info to use against Souma.

8.75 (very good) The characters designs fit the series. This is really dark for WSJ and I really like it, it's different and a breath of fresh air. I really, really like Emma. Norman seems interesting as a character as well. but he seems too shady to be fully trustworthy. Emma's evil smile at the end of chapter 31 has got me hyped to see a more ruthless Emma^^ I would love to see this get an anime.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Mar 28, 2017

7.50 (good) Character design is decent, also has a bit of comedy. Pretty entertaining. Urara and Yamade are pretty refreshing as a couple. Also reading the manga. The manga has reused the exact same plot of lost memories in the last few arcs too much for my liking back to back though. And I also don't like how when everybody; except for Yamada, was prepping for college, the entire group including Urara spent a lot of time guilting Yamada into trying to get into college, even though he said he wasn't interested in it.

5.00 (moderate) Enjoyable sports show but a lot of times (once you get away from the beginning arc or two, since then he had an excuse of being a noob) Onoda is annoying as hell with this total underdog defeatist attitude even after he gets a big win with the rest of the team.

Last Updated: Oct 07, 2013

1.25 (terrible) This show interested me when I first heard what it was about. Though I am sad it's only 13 episodes long because a lot of short anime are rushed and Yumekui Merry proved my point. The ending was the biggest rushed mess I've seen this season. The one thing resolved was that Merry now has some form of acknowledgment that she can send dream demons back.

7.75 (good) Really surprising, didn't think I would like this at all since it was about competitive ice skating but after watching the first episode I enjoyed it. Studio MAPPA at it again with unexpected greatness. The OP is really catchy. The comedy is nice. The animation is great. Definitely give this one a shot if you're on the fence. Though I wish they focused more on the skating aspect instead of the relationship from the second half of the show onward.

9.50 (excellent) Really entertaining for an old series. I enjoy the dub more than sub. My fav characters are Yuusuke, Hiei and Kurama/Youko. Yuusuke I like because he's such a smartass & funny, Hiei & Kurama are simply badasses in their own way & I like their designs. And Youko is just awesome ^^ As far as villains go, Sensui is by far my favorite :)

8.50 (very good) Interesting and I like it. Though I will say that I feel the series improperly used Lisa and Five's characters. In the end I will say that no one could deny their existence, the existence of the institute and the other children that were there or what led up to it's creation. The big deal was that they pretty much took kids out of orphanages and did human experiments on them, which is highly illegal. And making sure no one could ignore all of that was their original goal when they started everything in the first place, so they succeeded; in a sad way, but succeeded nonetheless.

Zero no Tsukaima

Last Updated: Mar 25, 2012

9.75 (excellent) Had funny moments. Siesta got on my nerves so much. Louise and Saito made a cute couple in my opinion. Louise, Saito and the whole crew are back for one last season, and if this first episode is any indication, it just might be the best one of them all. Now, I’ll admit that I say this despite rather fuzzy memories of the first three seasons. But I do remember the plot was sometimes shoved aside while the ecchi took over. Well, not this time! After a quick reintroduction to the characters, we go straight into the plot. Queen Henrietta wants Louise and the crew to head off to Romalia, the local Italy/Rome expy, and meet up with their leader, Pope Vittorio Serevare. We find out that Tiffania is a void user, and so is the Pope, and that the blond bishie who was first introduced back in ~Futatsuki no Kishi~, Julio, is the Pope’s familiar. We’re also treated to a great fight scene of Saito and Louise versus some mirror thieves that ends with Saito blundering into Tiffania’s familiar summoning ritual. Phew! Fortunately, none of this felt rushed at all. Events flowed naturally from one to the next, making for a really easy to digest episode. Plus, it managed to avoid two pet peeves of mine in regards to fiction. First, none of the characters were idiots. In many shows – and Zero no Tsukaima has been guilty of this before – the author makes characters do stupid things in a transparent attempt to further the plot. Here, while Saito and Louise do get into a rather silly argument, that’s pretty much normal for those two. What’s more, the ploy to Saito and Louise used to beat the tattoed thief was actually quite clever. I’m not going to lie, I cheered when I saw that : ) Secondly, I feel like the plot was not only setup, but it started to move forward. Jacques’ capture was especially surprising to me, though there was also the deal with Tiffania’s summoning ritual that has her going all doki doki when she sees Saito. If I had one complaint about this episode, it would be that last part. From the look of things, Saito probably just became Tiffania’s familiar as well. I mean, Louise yelling “why don’t you just become her [Tiffa's] familiar!” is a dead give away. Still, that’s a minor complaint in the face of an all around excellent first episode. For me, Zero no Tsukaima is one of the shows that really accelerated my love for anime, so I was going to watch this season through to the end no matter what. I’m just glad that it’s looking like this will be a treat rather than a chore. it felt good to see Saito and Louise’s wedding, because whatever your personal feelings are about Louise, it’s been abundantly clear (over this season especially) that the two of them love each other. While I love a good harem show, I hate for them to end forever on an indecisive note. I feel there was much lost potential, but whatever its faults, I enjoyed seeing this series finally come to a close. Also? Saito and Louise going back to Japan so that Saito can introduce her to his parents was really sweet. That little epilogue was my favorite part of the episode, by far.

9.00 (very good) Definitely a change from all the other anime of the 2012 Spring season^^ Sad that Hanako ended up dying, I didn't really expect that she would turn out to be a Player. And it was also knda mssed up that Jin had to live out his life as a hero in the shadows, but such is the fate of a true hero sometimes.

2.75 (poor) This series has influences from Hamlet. Watched to see how the plot turns out. It's stayed true to the manga. Though it started to feel like it was going downhill after the middle of the series. And got really boring after it got close to the half-way point and from then on.
